Seasonal/Part-time Positions

Sport Site Supervisor

This position is responsible for the supervision of youth and adult sports events (soccer, baseball/softball, volleyball, flag football and basketball), aiding with minor field/facility preparation, and monitoring all staff, sports officials, participants and spectators.  Assist the Recreation Director with other duties as assigned.  Must be at least 18 years of age. Typical working hours are 5:30 pm - 8:30 pm, Monday thru Friday and 8am - 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday (Hours will vary depending on season). General knowledge of rules a plus.  Must be able to handle difficult situations, work well under pressure and provide excellent customer service. Pay Rate starting at $15/hr.

Youth Sports Official - Soccer/Flag Football/Volleyball/Basketball/Baseball/Softball

Primary responsibilities include officiating youth sports games. General knowledge of the sports and rules is highly desirable but not required.  Must have good communication skills and able to work well under pressure.  Soccer, Flag Football and Basketball games are played on the weekends; Baseball, Softball, Volleyball and some Flag Football games are played during the week.  Must be 14 years of age or a Freshman in high school to apply.  All officials must attend a mandatory training/rules meeting for each sport they work.  Pay varies per sport and age level but it will be between $20-$35 per game.

Baseball-Softball Field Maintenance - Seasonal (May - July)

Primary responsibilities include athletic field maintenance, game prep, bathroom cleaning and any other field maintenance duties assigned by the Recreation Director.  Applicants must be 16 years of age.  Pay rate starting at $12 per hour.  Typical working hours are 8am - 12pm, Monday - Thursday starting in May and going until the start of July.
