Fiscal Year

The fiscal year of the Paola Recreation Commission begins July 1 and will continue until midnight, June 30, the following year.

Annual Budget

The annual budget comprises of two separate funds; the General Operating Fund and the Employee Benefit Fund

• General Operating Fund is based on a mill levy of the USD 368 tax base; pursuant to K.S.A. 12-1927 (a), plus other revenues such as program fees, donations, and other miscellaneous charges
• Employee Benefit Fund has been established for the purpose of paying the employer's share of any employers' benefits, exclusive of any salaries, wages, or other direct payments to employees; pursuant to K.S.A 12-1928 (j).
