Youth Recreation Volleyball - 1st-2nd Grade Instructional Program
The Paola Recreation Commission is excited to offer an instructional volleyball program for kids in 1st and 2nd grade. Our program is designed to introduce young players to the exciting world of volleyball in a fun and supportive environment. Over the course of four weeks, participants will meet once a week for an hour-long session filled with engaging drills and games.
This program emphasizes teaching the fundamental skills of volleyball, such as bumping, serving, proper footwork and the rules of the game through interactive and age-appropriate activities. Our experienced instructors focus on creating a positive atmosphere where every child can learn, grow, and develop a love for the game.
Participants will need to wear proper gym shoes. Participants will get a program t-shirt.
2024 Season Information
- Registration Opens: Monday, August 19th
- Registration Deadline: Sunday, September 15th
- Program Dates & Time: 9/25, 10/2, 10/7 (*Revised) & 10/14 (Two Wednesday's and Two Monday's)
- Program Time & Location: 6-7 PM at Paola High School-Main Gym
