Kindergarten Basketball Program
The Paola Recreation Commission is excited to offer an instructional basketball program for kids in kindergarten. The instructional program will be led by the PHS Girls Basketball team and coaching staff. The program is geared to introduce the basic skills and fundamentals of the game in a fun, safe environment. Emphasis will be on instruction, participation and having fun!
The program will meet once per week for six weeks on Saturday mornings at the Paola High School main gym from 9am – 10am. The first three weeks will be instructional based with the last three weeks having a combination of instruction and games.
Each participant will need to wear proper basketball gym shoes. The PRC will provide all equipment for the program and each participant will receive a t-shirt.
2024 Season Information
- Registration Begins: Early September
- Registration Deadline: October 27th
- Program Dates: Saturday's, Nov. 9th, 16th, 23rd, Dec. 7th, 14th & 21st (Will not meet on Nov. 30th)
- Time: 9am to 10am
